Inside the Advantage: Coffee, Calendars, and Chaos

Two weeks Inside the Advantage and I’ve already learned a few things: brainstorms move fast, coffee runs even faster, and client feedback has a way of teaching you patience and diplomacy at the same time.

Somewhere in between, I’ve also been waging a low-key battle with Microsoft Outlook. (Spoiler: Outlook is winning.) My calendar seems to think “accept” means “consider,” and my inbox has a talent for hiding the very email I need most. But if agency life is about adapting, then I’ll take this as just another creative challenge.

What makes it worth it so far? The people. Even when the pace is hectic and the tech is uncooperative, there’s this constant sense of “we’re in it together.” And for a new guy still finding his rhythm, that makes all the difference.

Here’s to more projects, more learning, and maybe—just maybe—making peace with Outlook.
