Sidney Timmer is the Creative Media Manager at Media Advantage. With a foundation in storytelling, advocacy, and visual media, Sidney brings a rare blend of creativity and community engagement to every campaign.
At Media Advantage, Sidney focuses on video content planning and production for client and internal campaigns. Her role bridges creative visuals with strategic messaging, ensuring each piece of content is not only eye-catching but deeply aligns with brand goals.
Originally from the northwest Houston area, Sidney moved to West Texas during high school and later graduated from Angelo State University with dual degrees in Communication and Theatre. Her early aspirations in film and videography led her to an internship at Fox West Texas, where she gained invaluable experience in editing, reporting, and on-camera storytelling.
Prior to joining Media Advantage, Sidney served as the Community Engagement Director at Concho Valley Community Action Agency, where she built public-facing outreach campaigns, initiated programs like Homeless Navigation Days, and helped transform how social services are communicated in rural West Texas. Her creative vision also shined as Artistic Director of Be Theatre, where she led branding efforts, produced full seasons, secured sponsorships, and deepened local cultural impact.
Recognized as one of San Angelo’s “20 Under 40” in 2023, Sidney has served on numerous boards and coalitions, including the Health and Social Resources Coalition. She’s also a proud graduate of Leadership San Angelo’s 40th Class. When she’s not creating bold, human-centered content that moves the needle for clients across Texas, she’s exploring West Texas with her friends and family, catching up on her watch list, or struggling to develop her ever elusive green-thumb.
