Haylie Anicama

Haylie Anicama is an award-winning graphic designer at Media Advantage with a strong foundation in visual storytelling. She is passionate about delivering graphics that align perfectly with a client’s brand identity while also making it visually unforgettable.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Angelo State University, graduating in 2026, and earned global acclaim by winning first place at the 2023 International SIGGRAPH Student Poster Design Competition. Her academic experience includes working as the lead Graphic Designer for the Ram Page at Angelo State University and an internship with Downtown San Angelo Inc., a non-profit focused on the revitalization, historic preservation, and economic growth of Downtown San Angelo.

Deeply rooted in the local West Texas creative community, she is an active member of the San Angelo Art Club and frequently showcases her artwork in local art exhibits and participates in local art events. Her work blends traditional artistic principles with a modern digital medium to create highly captivating visual narratives that explore vibrant colors, imaginative storytelling, and expressive human emotion. She maintains an active online artistic presence as a visual artist and illustrator under her creative alias, mxcha.arts.

When she isn’t at her office desk, she channels her creativity back into her personal passions. She is inspired by animated TV shows and movies, which constantly spark new ideas for her own illustrative work. She also loves clearing her mind on long walks, spending quality time with her family, gardening, and unwinding with video games.
